We’ve all thoroughly enjoyed our five nights at your unique holiday lodge. Thank you for making it so welcoming: tea, coffee, milk, flowers and the dog biscuit! The lodge is ideally placed for exploring the area. Our recommendations would be: The Crosby at Thornton le Beans for dinner, lots of walks around Borrowby, trip to Whitby and especially fish & chips at the Magpie, also visit to Harrogate and of course tea at Betty’s. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay….

The World of James Herriot museum in Thirsk is definitely worth a visit too! We would also recommend a drink or two in the Wheatsheaf, We can't wait to return

Love your Lodge Pat and you have been so helpful both before and during our stay. Love the wildlife around the lodge and the blackbirds are so busy - obviously still feeding young. During our week we have  seen a little owl, roe deer, rabbits, fox - fabulous!
Always love staying in Yorkshire but this lodge has been the best. Thank you we we hope to return.

A wonderful weekend had a Leake Green Lodge!!!

Pat and Brian were nothing short of exceptional during our stay. Nothing was a problem and communication was fantastic, and nothing had been overlooked within the lodge. Immaculately presented, well equipped and secluded enough to feel private. The lodge had everything we needed and more. The Outside space and views were brilliant! We will 100% be returning

A village of steep streets and narrow lanes, it has a wide view from its little hilltop between the Hambleton Hills and the great Plain of York. Standing by the old cross on the green, we look for miles over the Plain, so richly wooded and dotted with towns and villages that an ambassador at Henry the Eighth's Court once declared the view without parallel in Europe
